The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention defines aging in place as: "The ability to live in one's own home and community safely, independently, and comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level."

About Versa

As an Occupational Therapist and founder of Versa Home Safety for Seniors, my motivation to re-enter the workforce after being an at-home mom and volunteer prompted me to consider my professional beginnings working with older adults. Reviewing current fall statistics and the implications of falls for seniors recently led me to pursue additional trainings as an Aging in Place Home Safety Advisor through Age Safe America and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist through the National Association of Home Builders. With renewed enthusiasm, I aim to provide useful and beneficial recommendations to older adults striving to live safely and independently at home. If interested in learning more about my services, please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!
